COURSE FACILITATOR - MS. PAULINE CHEAH

Ms Pauline Cheah has 15 years of hands-on experience as a trainer cum consultant in statistical engineering applications and process control systems in the semiconductor industry. Upon graduation from University Malaya with Honours degree in BSc (Mathematics), she started her career in AMD Penang in 1991 as SPC engineer who had worked with individuals and project teams for paper presentation at Technical conferences and Operators Symposiums. In AMD, Pauline was one of the main instructor for Sigma College tutorial program to prepare participants for Sigma College exam. She also had major contributions to the computerized SPC system which is an in-house developed system and was recognized through the AMD Technical Excellence Award.

In 1996, she had moved on to pursue her career with Intel Technology Penang as Senior Process Statistician, she had provided consultation on statistical methodology for quality and process improvements, process control system and problem solving techniques. She had also conducted various problem solving and statistical courses at Intel-U such as Basic Statistics, SPC, FMEA, RFC, Measurement System Analysis, Design of Experiments, Binomial Statistical Methods, Monitor Reduction/Elimination, Acceptance Sampling and Commonality Analysis. In addition, she also had the experience in being a QCC judge for internal convention.

In Intel, she was one of the key driver for Data Analytical Competency SWAT team for CPU engineers to build their competencies in data driven decisions.

In 2007, Pauline had started her new self employed venture as a trainer cum consultant in Quality and Process Improvements courses to factories in Penang and Kedah. Her other professional qualifications include ASQC Certified Quality Engineer and Lead Auditor of Quality Systems training by Neville Clarke.
